The problem is great design is often overlooked because it does its job without getting in the way of the message. Time and effort that goes into it tends to be shrouded behind the magical design studio curtain.
I will expose the framework behind great design and the learning process behind designing a website. I am not infallible and still in my infancy of design thinking so I will inevitably fumble and that is the point. Without failure we cease to learn. I believe transparency in the design process is the greatest tool for educating others about the nature of the creative process. I will point out sources that I use and believe in so you may follow along if you will. I hate advertisements on webpages so I will only include links to buy books or tools inline with the text.
